The outdoor water feature had the most peaceful sound and was beautiful to look at. We plan to return again this summer and will definitely try to rent the same cottage again! "

"My sister, nephew and I had a very enjoyable time in the Author’s Cabin. The only drawback is that we were on a main road and traffic in the am was a distraction. The fireplace is very cozy and really heats the entire cabin. I would recommend it to anyone!"

Loved the game room/garage & was grateful that the neighbors let us use their dock since the lake is low/property’s dock was not usable. The way the “fun stuff” (hot tub/game room/lake access/fire pit) is laid out makes it perfect for everyone to do their own thing but still be together. "This is a place that feels like a home away from home - with some very cool perks. The waterfall and creek on the property sets the ambiance with both the sounds & views. The hot tub was wonderful for both cool mornings and evenings. Each bedroom has its own heater, window unit AC, ceiling fan, & tv. Windows open to the waterfall which is great.
