"My wife and I spent three nights here as we were in the area for my late father’s funeral. We had chosen the hotel for the wake due to the location and excellent facilities for such an event and due to the fact that as a family, we had often dined in the Passage House Inn just down the hill, so the area held some special memories for us. "This is most definitely the best place to stay in Exeter. It’s in a beautiful, quiet location, yet just a short walk to the city centre. The building is full of character and charm; our room was comfortable, clean and we loved the jacuzzi bath and fantastic drench shower with body jets. The staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was lovely too, with lots of options available."
