"A great cabin on the lake; a really nice spot for many things - fishing, bird watching, leaf peeping. It is a bit of a steep walk down to the lake with steps, but worth it. Tons of great things to do in the area - state parks, shopping, restaurants, access to many lakes in the area etc... The cabin is set up very nicely with everything you would expect for cooking (except no grill), hanging out, and sleeping. It is very cute and comfortable. "Legacy lakeside resort was fantastic! There's trails to walk, kayaks, paddle boards, paddle boats, nice beach, clean, very comfy beds, quiet and relaxing. There's also a cool game room, grills, fish cleaning station. We will definitely be coming back! It's our new favorite place to go! Staff were very helpful and kind too!! "

"5 couples recently stayed at this gorgeous mansion in Vergas, Mn. It was nothing short of amazing ! All of us were looking for some rest and relaxation as we left our kids at home for some fun time together. We got that and so much more!Our favorite thing was how much space each couple had, yet we were all together…way more than any other place we’ve stayed. I don't think we turned on a TV the entire time we were there. This is a testament to how inviting the space was. Great for conversations...

"The property was peaceful. Lots of birds flittering about. If you like to fish, especially for bass this is a great place. Every 2 hour trip I took out I caught 10-15 bass. All 3.5+ pounds. The largest was over 5 and I had multiple that size. The location of the fire pit right by the lake was a perfect end to the days. Will definitely be booking again. There are some minor spruce up repairs to be made but communication with the host indicated they plan to do those this year. "

"This old home was obviously updated with patience and love. The attention given to the beautiful, cohesive decor resulted in a very aesthetically pleasing stay. The outdoor deck was spacious delightfully lit, and provided a wonderful view of the small, quiet lake. Our family truly enjoyed our stay. One of our favorite amenities was access to the paddleboards and kayaks. We would absolutely stay again. "

"We loved this little house on the lake while we were in the Detroits Lakes area hiking in 3 of the MN State Parks. The size and location of the house was perfect for us, and the furnishings were warm and inviting. From chilled bottled water in the refrigerator, to a sweet hadwritten note from the owners with the gift of a grilling mat, we felt like we were cared for as "family". Being able to walk out the backdoor down to the dock in the early morning with a cup of coffee and watch sunrise...

"The place wonderful for our 10 people that stayed there. Very clean and comfortable. We had plenty of room inside and outside by the fire ring. The public boat launch is right next door to the canal. We plan on going back to stay there again next year."
