I loved the fact that I was able to walk out the door into a beautiful setting in an infinity pool that overlooks the ocean and from the balcony the city & mountain. "This was a great break from the rush of the City. Mary was there to meet us from the Ferry with the buggy. We had to make a couple trips for all our stuff and us. Small shops in town have the basics, so pack any special items/beverages you want to have. View is incredible and house is clean. Mary speaks primarily Spanish so a translating app is helpful. AC in bedrooms only but breeze from ocean helps to cool things. Town is walkable and beach is close. Very relaxing!"

"The location of the property is excellent. The views are great, the rooms are spacious, this was the perfect place to spend here on the island. Maria, the host, communicated quickly. Highly recommend if your plans bring you to Taboga."

"The condo was clean and had a great view. It would be a great place for a short stay for a couple but has minimal furnishings and utilities, not comfortable for longer stay. Condo staff are very friendly and helpful. While the condo management were very polite and promised to supply missing items we were still waiting for them when we left after 4 weeks. On the photos in the gallery the second bedroom looks to have a window but doesn’t. It is very claustrophobic when the door is closed for privacy."

"Unique stay for sure. We stayed in one of the smaller “containers”. It was fine for us, others might find it tight. The larger units looked like they had some dining area and a bit more space. A few extra hooks on the wall or in the very tiny bathroom would be nice for towels. The first floor units are great for pool side, second floor units have a porch but you have to go around the building to access your door. A few extra chairs on the first floor entry decks would be nice as we had to share. Fantastic restaurant on site, not a huge menu but we had 4 great meals. No breakfast menu but we heard from another guest it was available? The manager (Carlos) lives on site and was amazing. You do not need to kite surf to appreciate the skill and we spent hours watching the show with a front row seat. New stairs for access to the beach were being build while we were there. Be prepared for an abundance of plastic refuse brought in by the tide that lines the beach. Definitely recommend a stay here. "

"This was our first stay in the Playa Caracol resort and we cannot wait to come back! There are different apartment areas in the resort and for our stay during Carnavales we found the Villas Residences to be the most peaceful. The apartment was fully stacked with everything that you would need for a longer vacation stay for a family. The interiors were bright, clean, and gorgeous- the photos definitely do not do them justice! Contact with the property manager was very good. If you are looking for a vacation place with a lot of amenities (beach, pool, 2 restaurants, a small store - all within walking distance) - this is the place!"
