Beachfront Luxury, amazing view and Resort amenities

The beach condo is located in the Community of Nueva Gorgona in Bahía Resort, only 50 minutes driving from Panama City and in the middle of the dry belt of the Pacific side beaches, which guarantees sunny days even during the rainy season in Panama.
The condo sits on the 5th floor with panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean, and a wrap- around balcony where you will enjoy watching the sunrise and sunset. Once down at the pool areas, it is just 20 easy steps to the beach. The beach is Bahia Serena (Serene beach) which is a bay of 2 kilometers of sand and 10 minute walk to the fisherman cooperative, where you can buy freshly caught fish and seafood.
Our beautifully decorated 3 bedroom rental condo comes with a queen size bed in the Master Bedroom and two twin beds in one secondary bedroom and a bunk bed with a twin and a queen size bed on the other bedroom. There is also another twin bed in the laundry area, to allow for up to 7 vacationers sleep comfortably.
Vibrant and comfortable, the living room of this ocean view condo, offers many entertainment options such as cable TV and Netflix. The fully equipped kitchen is ideal for cooking delicious recipes. The dining table accommodates 8 guests comfortably, but also has a table on the balcony which overlooks the beach. There is also high speed internet WIFI.
The resort has all the amenities required for a luxurious and relaxing stay, tennis courts, basketball courts, children´s playroom, pool table, and a bar and full service restaurant which operates in the evenings. There are several pools sitting just beside the beach, including children´s pool and a lap pool.
The Resort is conveniently located only 3 minutes driving from a large commercial area which has supermarkets, restaurants and bars. It is also within easy driving distance to El Valle de Anton a volcanic crater where now a town is located. There you will see exotic wild animals, pre-historic hierogliphics, a local market and a canopy tour. The condo is also convenient and close to Altos del María, a mountainous community and the array of coastal towns in the area.

This place is so wonderful and comfortable. You feel on vacation right away. The views are amazing. We wish to go back but there not many rental dates available in 2024. This was our second time at the complex, first time in this condo. A wonderful location.

Great condo in Nueva Gorgona
Mara's condo at the Bahia is great. It is very roomy with 3br,3bath plus maids quarters. It is an end unit so it has a nice wrap around balcony which is hard to come by in the area. We live in the mountains nearby and like to come to the beach area for few days. Over the years we have stayed in several places and Mara's is the best. The place was very clean, spacious by Panama condo standards and had nice towels and bedding and even the ice maker worked. We had slight issue with one of air conditioners, but the property manager promptly came over and resolved the issue (and this was on New Years Eve)! He followed up to make sure the air conditioner was still working. I had several questions and requests to Mara and she always promptly responded. We would definitely recommend the condo and it will be the top of our list next time we want a beach break.

The condo is beautiful and has a nice view. The resort has a beautiful pool and beach. It is great for relaxing. If you are someone who likes to be moving, doing water sports, or shopping, this is not the place for you.

A little slice of heaven!
This was my last stop in a 3+ week tour of Panama and I loved it the most!!!!! The beach, the beautiful pools, the weather, the people. Everything was great! The condo was wonderful. You could open up the living room slider a full 2/3 of the way and just let the ocean breeze in. The condo was more than what we needed and I highly recommend it. The kitchen was great, but the best part is just sitting out and looking at the ocean or floating in the pool while looking at the ocean. It was just wonderful!

We loved this place. Great for a relaxing trip at the beach! G maps works ok, just go to the left of where it takes you. Even if the guard acts confused just show him your license or id, that seemed to sort it out. The parking was interesting with our large jeep. I would not want to have anything larger. Apartment was a dream. Fantastic views and breeze, great pools, great not crowded beach. Coffeemaker required a bit of scrubbing and the dryer was a bit of an issue with only a couple items, but there is a drying rack. Overall we would totally come back!

Great condo, exactly as described. There were 4 of us, two couples and there was plenty of space to spare. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything you would need. Coronado shopping and eats were a $5 cab ride away. Complex was very quiet with few people around during the time of our stay. Would stay again for sure.

Beautiful beach setting to relax at beach or pools.
Overall great experience. Refrig leaks when you open freezer door. Water dispenser from refrigerator very slow. Toilet in Laundry tool does not flush. Only 1 key in lock box not 2. We were told there would be 2. Difficulty checking in with security . My son in law speaks Spanish and still difficult. We sent our names and passports before arrival.

Spacious, clean, pictures are accurate. Beautiful view of pool and beach. Plenty of pools on the property and security. Strict property guidelines. No access to gym and kids playroom. All appliances worked and plenty of kitchen tools available (e.g. silverware, pots, etc.). Trash can and oven needed a little better cleaning and oven doesn't pass 250 degrees. Not all rooms have a tv but all had a/c, closet space and a view of the beach. We would book again.

We had an amazing stay !the view and location right on the ocean in a corner unit floor to ceiling windows with ocean views from every room . Huge Deck ( just wish the deck furniture was a little more comfortable ) as we spent a lot of time sitting out and taking in the beautiful view!

Perfect place!
Just returning from one month here at the best spot ever! The resort is fabulous - restaurants, pools, seconds to the beach, gym, and the condo itself was gorgeous. The owners even provide essentials to get you started - toilet paper, dish soap, cleaning supplies, coffee, spices, etc. Mara was responsive to our questions, the condo was perfect for our needs, and David, our taxi driver and guide was on time every time we asked for him. He speaks excellent English also. The condo is exactly as shown in the pictures. The only issue we had was check in - our flight was delayed and we arrived Sunday evening when everything was shut down. There was no one to give us access to the elevator as you need a key card. It took a bit of time to find someone to let us upstairs. That was the only problem we had the entire time. You can walk to a tiny grocery store, there is a place you can buy fresh fish minutes away, or you can take a bus or taxi to Coronado to do a bigger grocery run. If you do not have a car, there is not much to do close by, but we just enjoyed our location. The ocean water is 80 degrees, so who wouldn't want to just stay right there? David took us to Monkey Island, the Canal, and old Panama City, so you can do things for sure. It is almost a 2 hr drive from Tocumen airport, which is something to consider for sure, and average cost to get to Bahia from the airport is $90. So factor that in to your budget. Nice to know that you can drink the water from the tap in Bahia - no issues at all. Overall, this is my favourite place and one I am looking forward to returning to. There are several Facebook groups where you can get a lot of information - search for Coronado and you will find them. Coronado is the closest town and where everyone goes to eat and shop. 20 minutes by car.
