"We needed a stop off after a long flight from the UK between Tampa and Orlando. I picked Townplace Suites in Plant City as about halfway and being just off the I4. Wasn' expecting uch, but what I got was great. A lovely clean hotel with spacious rooms. A comfortable, restful stay. "

"The house was big, the back yard was nice. We didn’t use the pool. The house was dirty old food left in the fridge from previous guests. There wasn’t enough bedding for everyone. The dryer didn’t work. When we got to the house there wasn’t any toilet paper in any bathrooms or any paper towels. Outside tile is unsafe our daughter was walking on it and it came off and she fell and cut her knee. The cleaning people came over an hour early to clean. Which is crazy because if we wanted to check in early or check out late it would cost extra, but what about when the cleaning people come and kick us out an hour earlier then check out?? After we left we had an extra charge, charged on our card so I have tried to reach out multiple times and haven’t got any answers they won’t return phone calls or messages. I did reach out to vrbo they said that I would have needed to contact them while we was on the property. Not after we left the property. We stay at a lot of different Vrbo rentals and have never had these kind of issues. "

"We stayed here for about 2 weeks. My husband is from the area and was stunned at the beauty of the property and the amenities (small playground, pools, hiking trails) on what used to be cow pastures. The place was clean and new.The house was beautiful and everything was as pictured. But as a family with 5 small kids, we were disappointed that there wasn't even enough dishware for our whole family to eat a meal let alone enough dishes to make use of the dishwasher. There were just 4 plates, 4 bowls, glasses and 3 mugs. We chose a house rental over a hotel because we wanted to cook our own meals, but we really struggled to make anything -even spaghetti cuz there was no strainer. I had to toss /mix a salad and serve it out of the only large pot because there were no large bowls. We ended up going to walmart and bought a dozen plates, bowls, hand towels and kids cups. There were very few serving/cooking utensils and no way to store leftovers. This was inconvenient and would drop it to 4 stars for me.There were no hangers and no hooks to place wet towels but i messaged the host and they will install. There were also no laundry baskets, so it felt messy with piles of clothes in every room and wet towels on floors or propping doors open. Also, 2 door handles came off completely but there was no screw driver was on site to be able to get the doors opened. Thank God a kid didn't get locked in!Overall we recommend the place, but be prepared for a trip to Walmart."

"This place was nothing like the listing. It had a horrible smell and was not clean. When we got there we found a bunch of cats laying on the hot tub with the door open for them. We did not use it. The location was great and the atmosphere of the neighborhood was quite nice."
