"We are a family with children 8 and 6 years old and really enjoyed our time at Sue's accommodation. The home has everything you need and with a flat and fenced section it is perfect. It is located in kid walking distance to park and local outdoor pool. Ocean Beach and Strawberry Patch were our favourite spots to visit. "

"Lovely old property and nice a tidy but we were unable to find the pool which it had listed. We just generally felt the property was over priced."

"Fig cottage is such an appropriate name. You are living in a delightful cottage on the edge of their garden which is just full of an array of plants. Location was close to everything with our car. The addition of homemade jam and fresh fruit made a wonderful addition to our simple breakfasts.The cottage has everything you could possibly want and a lovely porch to sit on at the end of the day. "Our family (3 adults, 1 teen) spent a lovely chill Christmas week at this quirky and beautiful property which looks as though it has been built and decorated through a labour of love over many years. Colourful and delightful everywhere inside. Plenty of comfy spots to stretch out with a book or board game in the house, deck, lawn or patio. Hammock and loungers under a tree were a particular highlight in blistering HB heat. Beach is about 1km walk away, via ice creams at the dairy. Hosts were...

"The property was the perfect size and location for our needs. 4 adults and 3 kids. Lots of toys for the kids to stay occupied. Lots of room to run around. Nice quiet place to relax and close to activities. Totally recommend this getaway. 👌"

"We loved our stay at the cottage, it had everything we needed and was in a fantastic location near wineries and a short drive into Havelock North. Rooms were spacious and well equipped. Garden was great for kids playing outside. Kitchen well equipped and stocked generously with basics. Washing machine so handy with kids too! Would definitely stay again."

"This was a great property, and even better that it was a pet-friendly location for our two dogs. The property was clean, tidy and well equipped for everything that we needed and the outlook across the paddocks with the alpacas, pig (Allan) and sheep was very relaxing. Would highly recommend."
