5/5 Excellent
"The stay at the hotel is a trip that I arranged for a mom me-time, time to have some respite and quiet for R&R. When searching for a hotel, I made sure that it checks the following condition: located in Rockland county, have a queen/king sized bed, has a bar and restaurant in hotel, and the hotel room to have a bath tub.
The property was located at a great location. It's a boutique hotel, and you can feel that walking into the property. It's comfortable and check in was great. I loved that the place feels big, but not too big. It doesn't take you 15 minutes of navigating the hotel to get to your room. Depending on which side of the building your room is located, you may feel troubled by how the windows are setup. I was on the side of the building facing the apartment complex, so the windows were blocked off and could not see outside, that made me feel claustrophobic and I requested a room change to the side facing the highway and was able to get a proper view outside.
Once the room switch happened, everything was fine. I enjoyed the room, loved that I can just walk downstairs to the restaurant or the bar, and then walk back upstairs in the room. The location is also in Nyack - close enough for any other activities for the weekend that I have in Pearl River, Nyack and Tarrytown.
Some issues: not all room has a bathtub, so I was disappointed. And the TV was not working in my room, never resolved until I checked out even after requesting to front desk.
