"I had one of my most awesome stays over two nights at this very peaceful cabin. It's a comfortable 2-hour drive away from Chicago and once you get there, it is peace and quite. The log cabin has a welcoming smell to it. It's very clean, maintained and stocked very well. The cabin has two bedrooms on the first floor, and a loft with two single beds and a double - perfect for a family of 4-6 people. It has the Fisk Lake behind that we walked to, but it wasn't yet boating time in early spring and...

"It was as expected for a CABIN. Updated bath was a plus. Usable kitchen although water pressure in the kitchen sink was minimal. Interior was clean and nicely furnished, steep irregular concrete walkways w/no handrails (no lights either) could prove problematic for Seniors w/mobility issues a/cawas nice (3rd week of July)"
