"People who work there were friendly and seemed to genuinely care about our visit. Beds were comfy and nice big TV that was easy to use. Premises were clean but definitely needed attention and upgrading. Breakfast was good enough. Nothing fancy but fresh. Problem with cold coffee but I believe it was a problem with the coffee brewer We were there the night of the big snowstorm and were happy to see the parking lot plowed early in the morning. "The manager and staff were frienfly and very attentive. Toilet wasnt flushing and maintenance fixed it quickly. Housekeeping made the bed the second day which you don't find often. Breakfast was not great. But coffee machine was great. I was pleased with the pricing for the stay. It's quite far far from Whitby."

"Comfortable bed, heating system that works well, friendly courteous staff with a special mention to Ruthie (sp?) who looked after breakfast with courtesy and friendly attention, better breakfast than I expected from a standard self serve buffet style, Only reason for good rather than excellent rating - walls are too thin. Could hear coughing and sneezing in next room and someone complained about our tv being too loud (we turned it down)."
