The closeness to the shops nearby. This place has a good location. However, the hotel needs to be updated significantly. For instance the wall have stains on them the tiles have dirt between them. The price really reflects on the quality of the hotel.

The stay was good. The room is an efficiency size, but we were able to fit luggage in addition to the bed in the room. There was a misunderstanding with hotels.com in that "Reservation for 2 people - breakfast included" actually meant that 2 people could stay in the room, but breakfast was only included for one person. This was a surprise and hotels.com was unable to correct the situation.

not too close to center, but not far by meteo. 7-11 is nearby, veey convenient. will check this again next time.

An ok hotel about 10 mins away from Esaka station, which is really close to Shin-Osaka station. The rooms are very very small but comfortable for spending a few nights. Personnel is helpful and sweet. The rooms are cleaned daily however the overall condition of the hotel is poor with moldy carpets and dust everywhere.

Easy to find on GoogleMaps. Gotta walk 500m from the nearest station, which was still okay. Room was clean..

Nice and clean hotel with 7-11 just beside hotel
Staff is very nice although they can only speak simple English but is sufficient to commiunicate. Check in time was 3pm but I arrived around 1pm and I asked if early check in is available and they generously allowed me to check in! Room is sufficient as we don't require too big of a room. Staff even helped us to print out our disneysea tickets from my mobile because I had forgotten to print it out prior to this trip. Thank goodness for the staffs! Will happily book this hotel again when I'm in Osaka! Just a daily 5 mins walk to the train station and great for going into the super market to check out what food they have before heading to the train station or back to the hotel. I had enjoyed my stay!

Great location abt 10mins walk to subway.
7-11 right next door. Supermarket 5mins away. Fantastic breakfast. In house onsen to relive your tired body end of day. Comfortable room with all the basic amenities!

Hotel building aging.
The hotel was in a location that could be better. I bought the cheapest room and this definitely doesn't fit two people. The hotel is probably recommended for overnight stays when public transport stops. Felt similar somewhat like a capsule hotel due to the small size. The staff were friendly and the room was clean but the building and facilities are clearly approaching their end of life.

Great location close to subway & shops
The elderly Japanese cleaning lady was very nice. At time communicating with front desk staff was very frustrating because they could not speak any English and they are not helpful. Not suitable for family and only recommend for short stay only.

Stayed at the G R Hotel in Esaka for a total of 10 nights,clean and pleasant enough for myself, bit small if a couple but found it in a handy location for the station, and a 24/7 shop next door. Bedding and towels changed on a daily basis, staff friendly enough, suited my needs. Would definitely stay there again.

Nice bathhouse and friendly staff
I like the bathhouse on the top floor of the hotel, because the bathroom at the hotel room is too small, althought it provides bathtub. The staff is friendly and capable to speak simple English. I booked 2 kinds of room this trip. One is the economy room which is 12sqm and aother is a double room which is 18sqm. Highly recommend to book the double room because you can enjoy more space. For the 12 sqm room you even have no space to put you luggage while its open.
