"We had a great time in this village. It's so small and quiet but still close to a ton of things to do. Also very close to the beach and some fantastic seafood. My only suggestion is to put some screens on the windows. You can't keep the windows and shades open due to flies getting into the house. The homeowners were so kind and flexible, letting us check in early on our arrival date. I would recommend this house for a quiet stay in a very friendly village. "Our stay in Batalha could have started out poorly as William notified us the night before our arrival that our reservation had not recorded properly, and there was no availability for our first night. He quickly made the situation right by finding us a great hotel in town for the first night. Olive Hill is as nice as it looks in the photos, and clearly William is cut out for his second career in hospitality. We’d definitely stay there again."

"My husband and I were traveling throughout Portugal. We wanted to see Nazare but didn’t want to stay in the touristy areas with the crowds. So we chose this house which is in the Leiria area. It’s a traditional house with much of it recently renovated . It was very comfortable. And our hosts were great!"
