"It was cozy with no major frills. It was fairly clean and we got mostly hot water, but there were few amenities. There was a washer but no detergent. We had to pay extra a night for a second guest, but received nothing for that extra charge. The bed was firm and we woke up to horses neighing in the morning. Also, watch out for horse poop when you walk to your car in the ’driveway’. It did take a while to warm up the pellet stove but then it got toasty. "

"Right downtown on the Main Street. Easily walkable to just about anything in Berlin. Bathroom cold, no heating in it, but that was a minor issue. Nativity Parade was nice- so extremely cold though. Easy access to house. Well equipped kitchen for as small as it was. Went to Canton to Christmas Factory and Amish Country Theater. Both very nice events. Would highly recommend. "

"This cottage is conveniently located for visiting Akron, Cuyahoga Valley, and even Canton. We like birding and hiking, and there are many beautiful parks in this area. The cottage is comfortable and lovingly decorated. Great communication with the property manager and owner! My only complaint is not with the cottage itself, but with its description of being “steps from the lake.” While this is technically true, the steps take you to a guardrail behind which are private properties going down...

"The property was spotless, very clean and beautiful! The kitchen is well stocked if you want to do your own cooking, and the parking made it very easy to unload your car. It was well stocked with nice blankets, and the heater did a good job of warming it up after it had been on for a good while.
