"This property was our last stop in New Zealand before heading back to UK. We were delighted as it was as stunning as the pictures portrayed. The shack was well equipped with a very comfy bed. Being able to relax by the edge of the lake or take a kayak out on the water was a perfect place for us. Rod and Flow were lovely and welcoming and ensured we had a good stay. "

"A great cabin to stay in, with everything we needed and more. Loved the extra touches like the eggs and stocked pantry. Estuary is around the corner with loads of trout fishermen - was fascinating to see! Thanks for a great stay"

"We absolutely loved this place and could not have asked for better accommodation and hospitality. The house was beautiful, cosy and very clean and tidy. It had everything we could ever need or want and a few new exciting things to explore, including a TV sound bar and plenty of kayaks for lots of water fun.Being right on the lake was such a great experience for our family. The location was picturesque and super handy to lots of local attractions and a supermarket. Rob was a fantastic host and...

"Unprofessional as. Whole appartment looked like it was furnished from the dump. 10 condoms in the bathroom. One of the beds looks like it was from a 80s porno. No keys for the room. Tv didnt work. Besides that the view was nice."

"Lovely rural property Everything worked, and wifi was amongst the bestVery convenient for TaurangaGood array of essential supplies provided We were not confident about using the stairs during the night for bathroom breaks, so used the pull out sofa bed instead downstairs, and that was fine"

"Neighbouring properties made us very nervous to start with. No issues though and enjoyed our stay. Made the booking through a different website. Charged us for an extra night. Tried to communicate prior to check in. No luck and no reply. Overall experience very disappointing. Scared to use Bookabach or Bachcare again."

"The hotel is in a great spot close to the beaches and cafes. The unit we were allocated was right on a busy road and is quite dated. The furnishings need a refresh. The pool was closed. I used the gym , which was ok. Parking is safe and adequate. "
