"No picture can do it justice, its just a beautiful cabin on a jaw dropping peice of land. Such a peaceful and comfortable place to stay. All ages enjoyed themselfs so much we extended our stay. Not only would we recommend it we plan to return to experience all the seasons at the Exter Nature Cabins. The wildlife is so friendly there wasnt a day that we didnt get to see hurds if deer or flocks of turkeys plus eagles. "Loved our stay in this beautiful home. Was pleasantly surprised. Host Mike was awesome. Very attentive and responded quickly to our emails. This property was well equipped. We needed nothing. Location on phillips lake was a plus. It is only a 45 minute ride to Bar Harbor and Acadia national park.. we are hoping to come back in the summer"

The cabin was super cozy and had all of the essentials. Nice that it had basic toiletries as well. Great price and value for this time of year in Maine. A little under an hour to Acadia and Bar Harbor (lodging in closer proximity to those areas was 3X as expensive). We would definitely stay here again!"

"Chose glamping as a fun alternative to a hotel when in town for a concert. My daughter and her friends loved it (they are campers so en suite bathroom with screen did not bother them). Tent beds were so clean and comfy! We had rain, but cooked a big brunch in the outdoor kitchen. Hosts were wonderful and we had a great time! Would highly recommend!"
