We had previously stayed at Villa D’Este for our honeymoon and found that Sans Souci offered so much more for us. "Lovely and clean property! Good bedroom and bathroom facilities with a nice view from the bedroom balcony. Only a 28 minute walk from the centre or 5 minutes on the metro. Some nice bars and restaurants around the apartment. Only negative is that it is not made clear that you will be sharing the house with the owner and their dog. However this did not affect us and was not disruptive in any way the dog is very cute :) "

"Our stay was for 5 days with my spouse and 3 sons (all 18+) and son-in-law. Property was big enough for 6 of us adults with a lot of beautiful windows for cooling down the apartment. It didn't help there was a major heat wave in Italy the time we were staying but the property mgr brought us an additional 2 fans to help as apt is without a/c. "Superb! This property was our 3rd at Lake Como, the other's being further north. We wanted to spend a few days nearer to Como town and Cernobbio proved to be a cracking location and this apartment matched that. It was clean, well equipped and the air con was a blessing during the recent heat wave. Getting around was easy, relatively short walk to the lake shore and ferry to drop into Como. "Leider lag die Wohnung direkt an der Hauptverkehrsstraße von Como nach Bellagio. Den ganzen Tag donnerte der Verkehr vorbei, was sehr laut war. Dadurch war die Terrasse nur bedingt nutzbar. Abends und nachts war es relativ ruhig. Außerdem war von der Wohnung aus kein Geschäft, Restaurant etc. zu Fuß erreichbar. Man musste immer mit dem Auto irgendwo hinfahren und am Ankunftsort war das Problem, dass man meistens kein Parkplatz fand. In der Wohnung war die Badewanne nicht nutzbar, da irgendetwas...

"Die Aussicht von der Terrasse und allen Zimmern ist atemberaubend. Die Lage der Ferienwohnung ist ideal, nah an Como mit allen Möglichkeiten, per Bus oder Schiff die gegend zu erkunden. Lina ist eine überaus freundliche, engagierte Gastgeberin, die viele Empfehlungen für Unternehmungen geben kann. Die Straße vor dem Haus ist sehr laut, aber mit Ohrstöpsel in der Nacht war es für uns ok."

"Thomas was excellent in communicating with us. The location is very good, within walking distance of the lake, very close to the main church (IL Duomo). The apartment is quite spacious, with the typical classic Italian decor. The kitchen has pretty much everything you need. We even had a chance to do laundry (washing machine is available, but as in most places in Italy the clothes have to be air dried, which wasn’t a problem for us). We also ended up having a perfect parking spot for our car....

"Amazing house up a cute mountain road! Def a walk to get to from parking the car but was very doable. Plus they offered us the car to move bags and groceries. Definitely coming back to lake como and would love to stay here again!!! Thank you for lending us your house!"

"It was so good. Nice view,close to como , just you don’t need to have a lot of bags for arriving and leaving you need to walk 7 minutes uphill or you need car. Bus station 10c very close. We had relaxed times. We like it ."
