"During my stay at La Playa Orient Bay in St Martin, I was impressed by the great service and the spacious, beautifully decorated rooms. Though the ocean view is more of a partial view, it's still a delight to wake up to the soothing sound of waves each morning. The rooms were exceptionally clean, and the staff at the reception were incredibly helpful and welcoming. One minor hassle was the beach towels policy, as you can't change them during the day if they get dirty. However, I do appreciate their effort towards minimizing environmental impact. The breakfast could use an upgrade; it’s not bad if you're staying for a few days, but the lack of variety may become monotonous if you're here for an extended period. The beach itself is stunning and the on-site restaurant offers delightful meals. The hotel's surrounding area is amazing too, with plenty of fantastic restaurants within walking distance. Overall, La Playa Orient Bay is a great choice for a relaxing stay in St Martin, despite a few minor inconveniences."

"The suites are individual self contained ground floor apartments built in the style of plantation houses. Very pretty and spacious with quite well equipped kitchenettes. Lovely pool area with bar."

"We had an amazing stay & everything about the property was excellent. Everything we wanted was a very short 1-2 block walk away! Groceries, bakeries, amazing restaurants, & of course the beautiful beach too! The pool was refreshing each afternoon & a parking spot right out front for the rental car we didn't even need was handy too. I can't wait to come back again!! Our host's communication was fantastic too. Thank you, Delphine!"

"Wonderful experience at Orient Beach Hotel in Saint Martin. We stayed 5 nights in January/2025. Check in/out and all interactions at the reception desk were very pleasant and professional. Loved our spacious ground floor room that had a covered patio that allowed us to walk out directly to the beach!! It offered a very comfortable king size bed, large screen TV with Direct TV channels, nice sized kitchenette with table and beautiful/modern bathroom. Guests have free access to second and third row of beach chairs/umbrellas with beach staff being very friendly and attentive to requests for food/drinks. The included continental breakfast is offered steps from the beach. I wish it included eggs, bacon and some Gluten Free options. You pay extra for those requests. Majority of staff spoke English and were very friendly! We loved our stay and booked a full week in 2026! "

"The property is beautiful and the rooms are spacious (with a front door and a back door leading to a small terrace). The kitchenette in our room consisted of a microwave, sink, coffeemaker and small fridge. The pool was incredibly clean and there was a small area with a hose to rinse off (located near the gate to exit the pool area). It is a short walk from the property to the beach and towels were always available from the front desk staff. The cleaning staff did an excellent job daily and front desk staff were always helpful and friendly. The Astrolabe restaurant had a lovely atmosphere for dinner and the food was quite tasty. The free breakfast in the mornings included: bread with a selection of various spreads available, chocolatines, croissants, juice, tea, coffee, fresh fruit and some cereal options. The staff always provided a menu to order other items for breakfast for an extra fee (e.g. scrambled eggs and bacon). It was overall comfortable and a pleasure to stay at the Esmeralda Resort. "

"So.. I usually do not leave reviews but I felt inclined to leave a review for others considering booking here. DO IT! My boyfriend and I went for Christmas. We weren't expecting too much, however, we loved how Pauline designed the stay! She was super accommodating from the moment we booked, checking in on the trip and providing AUGUSTINE as a driver, who we really loved! We selected the suite with the private Jacuzzi. The pool is shared, but only with like 2 other suites. We didn't use that as much as we enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub. The room was really cute. I'm in Real Estate so I appreciate the modern upgrades and sleek look. Dinner and the beaches are within walking distance... only a 10-minute walk. We went to Coco Beach and Bikini Beach. There is a breakfast place nearby called “Good Morning”.. the owner is this really serious, sweet guy. We ate there each morning, 4x straight. Dinner is also just walking distance from the stay. Most restaurants are open until 10/10:30 PM. Overall, this was a great location! One day Pauline put together a "mix and meet", with Champayne and cheese, which was sweet and yummy! If we visit again, we will surely book here! "
