"The property had an amazing view. It had both indoor and outdoor furniture to make it relaxing. The only problem was how hot it was inside with no air conditioning. The big windows allow for a great view but also let in full sun during the whole day. Open windows and fans helped but only in the evenings. and no air conditioning"

"The place is good, and we had a good time in the area. The place is not right on the beach--it is about a 200 meter walk through the woods. The house is pretty remote, which can be a good thing, but every place we wanted to visit is at least an hour drive away. We did a lot of driving and spent a lot on gas. Kitchen was stocked with the essentials and all bathrooms had plenty of soap, paper towel and toilet paper. The host was super friendly and helpful. "This property was exactly what we were looking for. Stunning views and far away from the hustle of city life. The house was quaint and enough room for seven of us. There is no central air conditioning, just a heat pump on the first floor but opening the windows to the ocean air as Todd suggested was more than sufficient to cool the rooms down in the night. "Nice log cottage sitting on Diana Mountain with a nice view of Bras d’Or Lake. The night skys are fantastic. The cottage is secluded. It is about a 35 minute drive to the nearest store of any kind so if you want to get away from everything it is perfect. Stock up before you go. The cottage has high speed internet and good cell phone reception to keep you in touch with the outside world. If you are planning on taking in a lot of the sights of Cape Breton Island then plan on a lot of driving."
