"This was the best stay ever. If you get the chance to visit here, try for at least two nights, if not more. We hated to leave. The spa is wonderful. The restaurant has an amazing menu. They do a fantastic job with the breakfast buffet. Absolutely beautiful property. "

"Very clean and professionally run. A place where you can tell the owners take a lot of pride in providing a nice place to stay. The breakfast was the best you can get in town, fresh fruit and lot of delicious bread and cheese. Only recommendation for improvement is to have fans in the room, it was very hot day and we were on the third floor which got pretty toasty. "

"The location is amazing and the hotel room large, clean and welcoming. We were ok but the stairs to the room may be s problem to some. That said our stay was great and the food in the restaurant fabulous. Michael was excellent and service superb. Loved our stay and the lovely walks into the Black Forest."

"This hotel fells more like a hostel. It was clean, but Wifi was very poor. Best in wifi was at the reception building. Virtually in a dark spot even for cellular phone connection. Breakfast was ok, but limited. It’s basically part of a group of buildings associated with an isolated monastery ruin deep in the forest. As such it was interesting."

"It’s in the center, short walk to the Cathedral and other points of interest. The layout of the unit was a bit odd and small, but we made it enjoyable. We loved the smell of the soap and shampoo. The receptionists were very friendly. Overall, it was an excellent stay; highly recommended."

"Very old and dirty in the unit, lobby was clean. We had to use to fold out and I was afraid of bed bugs, the mattress was so gross! I went with blind faith that the blankets were clean and layered them on top. We asked for another duvet or blankets and was told they don’t have any. Did not eat breakfast, it looked like a small option for the price. The staff was friendly and answered directional questions. We were not close to restaurants or city center but the tram was close.
