"The cottage is in a lovely sunny position, very quiet and the beds are comfortable. It’s not a spacious cottage for 6 adults - the sitting room, main entrance, kitchen and dining area are all the same room; one sofa with 4 seats; very little ‘kitchen’ space but adequate hob and oven. The owner’s family were warm, friendly and helpful. I would stay again if holidaying in Holland, but not with 6 of us, really it suits 4."

"We enjoyed two days and nights on this lovely houseboat just outside of Amsterdam center. Our host made everything easy with impeccable communication. The houseboat itself was a fun adventure and we so enjoyed being gently rocked to sleep while listening to the breeze, the waves, and night birds. The view of Amsterdam at night was magnificent. "What a lovely apartment! It was very well equipped and decorated. Loved it. It was a home from home. The host was friendly and took the time to explain how appliances and lights operated. There was a very useful binder with information on the area, shopping and restaurants. The apartment was within walking distance of the city center and Alkmaar was worth exploring. "
