"This property was absolutely epic. Extremely fast communication, gorgeous house and delicious dinner coordinated during a time when most things are shut. Mari and her team were so great. We regretted we didn't have more than one night to enjoy this picturesque village and perfect house. It surpassed all expectations. "A very beautiful place with very gracious hosts. Hideo san and his lovely wife Yukako san were friendly. It was my girl's birthday and Hideo san orered a cake from his friend on our behalf- one of the best i ever. We all slept very well. Must be the fresh air and the quiet surroundings. "

"Our crew enjoyed a delightful time in the Kyoto farmhouse. The hosts were most accommodating, Hideo-San is a man of many talents, and his wife is compassionate and very kind. The house itself had the necessary items for cooking and living comfortably. There is a very sweet café, which features kitties and delicious food just a few footsteps away. If we ever find ourselves in this part of the world again, we will certainly reach out and reconnect with these sweet landlords. "

"Best part if Japan trip. I found best way to reach hideo is through whats app. He speaks very good english. It is off beaten path. About 1hr buss ride from kyoto station.it is a beautiful scenic route.There is a buss that will take you directly there from kyoto station. Just ask information office if you feel lost. "The ryokan was absolutely wonderful. It was authentic Japan culture and style in an a breathtaking location. The food was an elaborate 11 coarse meal that was delicious Japanese cuisine. The whole stay was a a glimpse of Japanese culture and tradition. I highly recommend for the cultural tourist."

"The hotel is right opposite the Amanohashidate station. The room was great and all should try the onsen. Staff speaks limited English but they are still very helpful and polite. The buffet breakfast is wonderful. Check out the spread of Japanese seafood items and the fish miso soup. Do plan for your dinner as many shops are closed after 5pm."

"The property is at a very convenient location where we can easily walk to the department store and super market across the street. The condition of the hotel is very new, and they provide a microwave and free tea and coffee at the community area for everyone to use."

"In Japan for a month. This was by far the best place I stayed. Staff was amazing. Food is great. Rooms are clean and spacious. And the onsen is relaxing and peaceful. Great Japanese ryokan experience. The staff was so friendly and nice. Felt like I was staying at a friend’s house—except it didn’t have to help with chores."
