"We had an amazing time at this Ryokan - traditional Japanses hotel. We had a junior suite, so spacious, itcwas so relaxing. Buffet breakfast, good selection was included. We had kimonos, socks and shoes in room and traditional sweets in room everyday with an explanation of their origin. Would recommend the teahouse evening with tea house tour. Walking takes 30 mins to castle and centre."

"This was my favorite stay out of all of my accomodations in Japan even if I was only there for a day (wish I stayed longer!). Soku-san and his wife are the kindest people ever and offered amazing hospitality. Gao is the cutest dog I've ever seen and I was super happy to get a picture with him at the end of my stay. "We had to walk through narrow winding steps to the room. If you have a large suitcase, you may have hard time. I expected a local Japanese family to welcome us because I was going to aske some advice and suggestions but it was a Chinese famly. So I did not ask them. Another thing we were not happy about was this Chinese lady asked my husband passport. She made a copy of it. Not only that I had to write my information on the paper and signed it.
