"The best part of our stay was the bedroom location. We had shakara room which is in the front and most private. There are rooms that have to walk either across the temple for shared bathroom or right next to the bathroom where there may be more noise. Not a fan of the only one bathroom. And water provided would have been nice. Showers have to be scheduled on time board since it is shared. Nice host and clean. Towels need improvement. Quality and quantity. "

"Very traditional Japanese hotel. Enjoyed the experience but as an American, I didn’t think the food was very good and I typically love Japanese food. There was an excessive use of gelatin coating on many of the dishes. Also, 2.25 hours for dinner was too long. We waited 15 mins after finishing each course to get the next one. "

"We had an amazing time at this Ryokan - traditional Japanses hotel. We had a junior suite, so spacious, itcwas so relaxing. Buffet breakfast, good selection was included. "This was my favorite stay out of all of my accomodations in Japan even if I was only there for a day (wish I stayed longer!). "This is a beautiful renovation of a historic building . Feels like a more modern take on a mix of traditional inn / condo . It was the perfect space for our family of 4. We stayed in the Sakura suite and all used the outdoor tub. Location is a little bit away from the main sightseeing area in Kanazawa , but easy access by bus or taxi . We liked the quiet area around the inn . We will definitely stay here again ."
