"I always stay in this hotel when I am in Hiroshima. It has the best location, by the train and bus station and you will never go hungry with the multitude of eating places nearby. The room is of a reasonable size and has all the amenities that you could need. I didn't buy breakfast this time as this is quite expensive. It is only worth it if you can eat a big breakfast!"

"Check in at 3pm but you can rest at the lounge area for drinks and ice cream. Walking to the Torri gate takes about 10-12min but lots of interesting shops to browse thru. The magnificent Torri gate is definitely worth seeing and you can go out at low tide. The miyajima JR ferry terminal is just across the hotel which made access easy. Dinner at hotel was buffet style , not say plenty food options but most items are done well. Same about breakfast too. You will not regret taking a room facing the ocean. Pay that bit more. Hospitality at hotel is excellent. "

"The service at Miyajima Seaside Hotel was the best we have ever experienced! We stayed in a traditional tatami room. Dinner and breakfast was included. Our beds were set up while we were at dinner. The food was fresh and amazing. The attention to detail was impeccable. The staff were so helpful. Highly recommend at least one night here!! "

"We have travels a lot, and Kenji’s farm is one of the most special places we have stayed. The land itself is incredibly serene - the view of the sea from every part of his property, all while being at the foot of Mt Misen - the landscape was legitimately inspiring. And the house itself is perhaps even more beautiful - so conscientiously designed. Obviously, the wooden hot tub/shower and outdoor areas are a highlight (we saw snow falling from the tub!) and the kitchen is one of my favorites I’ve cooked in, but so many little touches throughout. It has everything you need, and Kenji is such a supremely thoughtful and attentive host. Went out of his way to transport us, answer our many questions about the place and land, and sincerely offer the chance for connection. We also explored the surrounding area, the beach that’s just a 1/4 mile walk is stunning, and the run I took on the road from the house was one of my all time favorites. This place was the perfect way to s l o w d o w n after a lot of big cities on our Japan trip. I sincerely cannot recommend it enough. I am tempted to book a return trip to Japan just to stay at this place. Come visit, and thank you Kenji! "

"One of the best and most unique places I’ve ever stayed. A beautiful old townhouse in the heart of Miyajima within walkable distance of the famous Torii gate. The owner is a sushi master who prepared a stunning omekase sushi dinner for us. I’d recommend staying here and making sure to get the dinner option! "

"If you are considering splurging for a night here, do it. The staff is excellent and the room immaculate. Great soaking tub, free snack lounge & breakfast with delicious food. We will be back. It is also nice to have all the tourists leave and be on the peaceful, quiet island at night. "
