"A lovely hillside development of purpose built rooms in the mountains. We received a warm reception. The room lovely and inventive in its design. We really loved it. A small terrace outside was where our breakfast was served, and this was superb. The secluded location served to teem with songbirds, I've rarely heard so many welcome the start of the day. A perfect location, a short drive from Corte where we had dinner in the evening. "

"A brilliant construction and location in the stunning gorge location. Lovely room and large patio to enjoy breakfast alongside the roaring river. Parking was manageable at the roadside, and the lift ideal between floors. The owner and waitress were charming and informative, but we were both startled and disappointed at the continuing grumbles from the receptionist, especially when asked about messages that my daughter had sent there."

"I’d like to write about this apartment, but can’t because, despite booking and paying for it 5 weeks in advance, the apartment was given to someone else. We didn’t meet the owner either who, when we phoned him, we were told he’d made an ‘error’, and that was the end of the conversation. Perhaps a mistake, but probably not, and the inconvenience of having to find other accommodation at 8.00 in the evening was unbelievable (Corte has real accommodation shortages). I don’t recommend anyone...

"At the Duc de Padoue, the team really cares about their customers’ well being. They go out of their way to help. This includes organizing transport - even beyond Corte. The hotel is walkable from the train station and central to all the sights. Restaurant recommendation was super. The room was renovated and spacious. The breakfast great. "The shower has nothing where to hang the hose, so you have to hold the hose with one hand and try to use the soap with your free hand. I am not used to this torture. No curtains or contaiiner for the water so all the bathroom gets wet. Bad mood of the manager, impolite at worse."

"We had the amazing experience with Dominique at Parfumu DI Celu. She was the most welcoming host and treated us to traditional Corsican food and wine. The rooms were beautifully decorated with stunning views, and the atmosphere over dinner with the other guests was a highlight of our trip. "What an extraordinary property. This beautiful and ancient stone house in the mountains is brimming with character. The rooms are beautiful and quirky in the very best of ways. The views are dramatic and exquisite. The owners are lovely people and made us very welcome. Breakfast was a feast of lovely pastries, bread, preserves and muesli type cereals. I cannot recommend this place enough and I'm sure that we will come back here again. "
