"This house has everything needed for a perfect relaxing vacation. The house is centrally located between all the lakes. We were able to bring our boat and have it with us and the public launch is right across the lake. The house was tastefully decorated and the deck was very relaxing. We made use of the firepit by the lake several nights. Looking forward to returning next year. Will definitely book this house again. I highly recommend the Clam Cottage! "

"We stayed with our four kids and brought the boat. The kids fished off the dock where we parked the boat during our stay. In walking distance of a grocery store, Fiddleheads breakfast/lunch spot, the Boathouse Winery, the Capital Dog (great ice cream), a True Value and even a gas station.Plenty of seating on the deck and the four queen beds (two were pull out couches) worked for our family. "We had the best time at the Shingle Shack! The house was spacious and comfortable. It is has a very homey feel to it. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. There is a great little market within a few minutes drive that we v bought all of our groceries at. The kayaks were fun to take out into the lake.
