"A little haven, idyllically set in the middle of a vineyard. Great heated lap pool. Very good wifi and TV. Owner even left milk and a bottle of his own Sauvignon Blanc in the fridge. We spent quite some hours touring the local vineyards by car and bike. "

"The unit was a great layout, good location, had everything we needed. However unfortunately there was a strong musty smell when we first entered & lingered the whole time. Whenever the place was closed up for a few hours, when we re-entered it was really strong again. Quite disappointing "

"Lovely location, tucked away in Grovetown. Owners house is on the same site about 50 metres away. Very tidy and in excellent condition. Bach is not the building in the photo, but a part of the bottom floor - doesn't have a kitchen as such - just bench. So cooking is plug in electic hob and bench oven. No water in kitchen, so food, washing is all to be done in thebasin in bathroom next to the toilet - which is a bit of a pain if people are in the bathroom."

"We absolutely loved the tranquility and location of this unit. We were really ready to simply rest and relax in a beautiful spot at this point in our vacation and this was perfect for our family of four. Everyone had privacy but it was also well provisioned for a family. Be aware that it isn't close to much so be sure to get groceries on your way there because once you're there you won't want to leave."

"The house has a wonderful view over the Mahakipawa Arm. We spent three beautiful nights there. When we arrived, there were a few issues with cleanliness which I shared with the property manager. It's a lovely, albeit basic space. We were a party of three, and we cooked every night. Kitchen items were limited, just enough to accomodate basic meals for our small group. "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Wendy is a great host. The setting in the vineyards is gorgeous, especially her beautiful garden! The fresh local / homemade breakfast items she provided were fabulous. Would definitely stay again!"

Having direct access to the water at the bottom of the garden was such a treat, and we loved making use of the kayaks. "My husband and I brought our 23 year old daughter and stayed 2 nights. The staff were lovely and the property was clean and very comfortable. We walked to many vineyards in the area. It is a lovely place and affordable."

"The Scenic Hotel Marlborough was absolutely adorable!! It had super easy parking and was in a very walkable area. We enjoyed relaxing at the hotel the entire time. Dinner at the restaurant was fantastic, and their wine selection was top-notch. The bar staff were knowledgeable with great recommendations. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and professional. I loved staying here and would definitely go back if I had the chance."
