"Absolutely gorgeous! The pictures does no justice! This is a cozy and nice house with two bedrooms as well as two bathrooms, a gym area to add. I love the yard set up. Cute set up on the back porch area. Kitchen was well equipped with all the utensils, pots pans and a kureig. Snack bar and water was provided!! How nice, definitely with kids during a hurricane!! Id recommend a 10/10!! Id definitely book this property again!!"

"We rented in order to visit with my terminally ill sister. Cozy Retreat provided a perfect place to stay and receive family during our stay. It was clean and nicely decorated. My only criticism would be our check-in process. Although we had notified the host of our ETA, we did not receive access instructions prior to arrival. "The house is nicely sized and very well taken care of. We spent hours(!) sitting in the backyard, watching the ducks and cranes go about their business, often within feet of us. The location couldn't be more convenient if you have things to do in/around Lake City."

"The cottage was everything that we wanted and needed. It is out in the country but close enough to stores if we wanted to go out. Everything is so quiet there. You could hear no traffic or neighbors. It was very peaceful."
