"Stunning property with a view that will take your breath away. We were two families of 4 and the adults took one room each and the 4 kids slept in the large third room. Close to all the wonderful river beaches. Stayed 8 days. Manuela a great host. Pool is fantastic and there is a separate BBQ poolside if that is your thing. The road is quite rough getting there so if you hire a car then err on the SUV side and give it a clean before you return it! Don’t trust the Google map directions near...

"Charming house, very clean and well equipped. The small pool is perfect for toddlers that don’t know/are learning how to swim! Our daughter loved it! Wonderful setting in great location! Jane is the best! She is the sweetest and most helpful host! I totally recommend staying in casa de Alagoa! "My wife and I spent five days enjoying the quiet and beauty of the Oliveira do Hospital area. Mathew’s farm was the perfect location from which we could explore the surrounding villages, vineyards and mountains of Serra da Estrela. Mathew was the absolute perfect host. He ensured that we had everything we needed in his spacious and beautifully decorated home. We so enjoyed his company, his generosity and the great discussions over wine and cheese. 😊"
