"I was very comfortable as far as sleeping, inside temperature control, preparing meals, watching tv and showering and so forth... but I did not have WiFi in my apartment while I was there. "This is a very nice apartment that is centrally located and was a great place to stay for two nights in Rovinj. We used the hotel guest parking and walked to the hotel with our backpacks. It was a nice ten minute walk but wouldn’t recommend it if you had suitcases. The apartment was fairly easy to find. When we got close by I called the hotel and someone found us on the street and showed us where it was. The adventure of finding it would be tricky without a phone or WiFi. My only complaint is...

"Unfortunately this apartment is being misrepresented. It isn't as pictures show, the owners are not Angelo d'Oro Holiday Home Orto, it is someone else and they aren't very helpful. There excuse was that "there was a mix up with Expedia". "My family just came back from vacation in Rovinj. We stayed in Angelo d’Oro town house, short walk from the main hotel. The house was recently renovated and they did a great job. Beds were supper comfy, old stone house kept us cool even on 30+ weather ... The parking is off site but pick up shuttle was very prompt, everybody was very accommodating. Super location smack in the city center but quiet at night."

Top Five I’ve ever stayed in

"We had an amazing stay at the Residence Porta Antica! We called the hotel when we were unsure with parking and Claudia came in her cart to show us where to park and then drive us to the hotel! She was such a pleasure and so friendly! She gave us a warm welcome and recommended several restaurants, as well as ice cream places! She allowed us to keep our bags in the hotel after checkout because we were going to explore Rovinj before leaving the city. The room itself was stunning. The vibe of the hotel was beautiful and having the ocean right outside the window was perfect. We could not recommend this place enough! Great staff, great location, great rooms! "
