"The pool and hot tub area alone make this place worth the stay. Some house is nice and updated on the inside with plenty of room. Owner was nice and communicated well. My only complaint and the only reason I took off one star is the shower had someone elseā€™s hair on the wall which means it wasnā€™t cleaned between stays or just missed during the cleaning. I would stay at this place again if I was in the area."

"Beautiful farmhouse with a gorgeous pool! We had a great time at the house! Robert was quick to respond if we needed anything and he met us at check in to show us around, he went above and beyond as a host! The house is well equipped for a family, kitchen has everything you need, pool toys, beach gear, etc all available for our use. Loved the location! Across the street from Dureyaā€™s for lunch or dinner and then a short bike ride down to Orient state park beach and a beautiful nature walk...

"We arrived on Friday just in time to check out the local farmers market right within walking distance of the property. The house was immaculately clean and the surrounding land was beautiful. The owners even went the extra mile to leave us with extra amenities such as butter, jam, and coffee. This is the second time we've stayed at this property and we absolutely love it and look forward to staying again. "

"I am from the central CT area originally and typically need a multi-bedroom spot for my wife and toddler son. There isnā€™t much as far as choices in the area, but this place was great. Itā€™s quiet, clean and cozy. Chris and his wife are great communicators and hosts - they met us to show us around and answer shy questions, and then let us enjoy our stay. The property is beautiful and in a great location. Chris was also nice enough to introduce us to his sheep, donkey and chickens in the morning,...

"We all liove the various Connecticut shore towns, and Ild Lyme was delightful. We revisited some favorite spots, and discovered a few new ones. The vintage appliances were particularly nice to find, and looking at old photos, we realized that the original cottage was really 100 years old!"

"We had a GREAT time here!! Just beautiful scenery all around. The cabin was well equipped with everything we needed essentially. I was quite impressed with how comfortable we actually were. There was a temporary power outage but it didnā€™t last long and management not only delivered more wood to us but also gave it to us for free as we wanted to spend our time outdoors during the outage. Im super happy to have had this experience and would absolutely be doing it again!! Thank you Postcard...
