"I truly enjoyed my stay here! The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, which made me feel welcome right from the start. My room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and the bed was so comfortable that getting up in the morning was a real challenge — I finally got the proper rest I’d been needing for a long time. Yes, some of the facilities are a little dated, but honestly, that only adds to the hotel’s charm. It has a lovely historical feel that gives it real character. If I could change one thing, it might be the dining room — a little update wouldn’t hurt. But overall, I’m really happy with my stay, especially considering the hotel is located right in the heart of Wellingborough. I’ll definitely be coming back soon!"

"We only book for a night ,but its worth it . Staff are friendly and accommodating. Room clean and bed is comfy. Hotel is quite accessible to the places we planned to go to. Will book again in the future. "

"We were impressed with the staff and service. However, the walls seemed paper thin as we could hear the coversations of the people next door. The toilet flushing was extreemly loud and the lighting was terrible, particularly if we needed to get up in the middle of the night, as it was pitch black - we had to leave the bathroom light on all night with the door slightly ajar. Very disappointing."

"I’ve stayed here many times so I was unhappy that changed in my plans was not accommodated on request. Poor customer service on Hilton’s behalf - I had requested to change my date and was declined. That said, the room was clean and the breakfast service and offer much improved from previous stays. Rooms are a little dated and never like a shower with a curtain but for the price and convenience you can’t grumble. Does feel like an uninvested Hilton though"

"The hotel was nice great facilities but the bathroom wasn’t the best dirty yellow film round the taps and in between the tiles the grout was dirty also "

"Our first time using Holiday Inn and it was a very pleasant change from other budget hotels.Having staff welcome you at reception is a great start.The accessible room we requested was completely satisfactory for my wife who has Alzheimer's and movement and cognitive issues.An incident with my wife in the early morning hours when she lost her sense of bearing was dealt with professionally and with sensitivity by the night staff and we are both very grateful.We have booked another stay and are glad we have found this little gem."
