"Lower Elmore's is a lovely house with everything you could need and bags of space. We rented the property as a group of 12 (6 adults, 6 kids) and hugely enjoyed it. It's remote location does mean you have to navigate single track narrow roads to go anywhere - this wasn't a problem for us but may not be to everyone's comfort."

"Fantastic stay, the house was perfect and stunning scenery right on the doorstep (albeit the fog tried to ruin it). Our first Christmas at a neutral location, took some planning but it worked out very well, the kitchen was great with all the equipment you could need. Loved the Aga too. "Great, centrally-located property. The appartment was modern, clean &spacious. The staff were friendly & helpful. I had a room above the pedestrianised area which meant there was a bit of noise from people leaving the pubs but it soon died down. I'd stay again."

"Absolutely loved it here, so peaceful and quiet. Just we wanted but within easy reach of Abergavenny and Monmouth for provisions. We loved it so much we are going to book for next year! "

"My husband and I had such a lovely stay at Jane's house. It is a lovely cosy house with everything we needed for our stay and very central for visiting the main spots of the Forest of Dean. Jane is a super friend and helpful host and great with communicating. We would definitely stay again."
