Summer/Fall lakefront vacation rental. Sweeping views of beautiful Fourth Lake in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains. Relax on the cozy porch overlooking a spectacular lake and mountains. At night relax around the fire and gaze at the stars.
Located between Old Forge and Inlet, NY one mile from Daiker’s.
Main house has 1 bathroom, 2 queen beds, 1 full bed, and 1 single bed. Boat house has a queen bed.
Lake offers beautiful sandy swimming, dock, and porch with incredible views.
Located near numerous hiking trails, mountain climbing trails, charming shops in Old Forge and Inlet, a large water park (Enchanted Forest). Large selection of bars and restaurants from fine dining to casual close by.
Sup board. Pontoon rental available at extra cost and restrictions (must have valid NYS boater license).
Summers are spectacular and the fall colors magical.
Home is in the process of being remodeled which is why it is being offered at a heavily discounted price; similar properties rent for $5,500 a week in the summer.
Discounted price is $2,750 per week.
$395- $455 per night for 2-6 nights depending on the day of the week) minimum 2 night stay.

Old Forge
The location between Inlet and Old Forge suited our trip plans perfectly. The house has a very steep driveway but entrance to the house was flat and easy to park and unload. When you enter the house, you walk into the second floor where the bedrooms and bathroom are located. The first floor of the house is still under renovations but it did not impact our stay. The kitchen was fully functional. The deck was perfect for relaxing while overlooking the lake. There are many stairs down to the lake from the house (we did not have an issue) but could be difficult for a person with mobility considerations. I enjoyed how the dock was set up with stairs into the lake-made swimming easy for my son.

Beautiful Lakefront Cabin
We had a little family trip and this was the perfect place to get away and completely relax. The place was spacious enough and well put together so even with 5 adults and a dog, it never felt crowded. Definitely would love to stay again in the future. We all had an amazing time and everyone was very happy with the place. And we saw loons every day from the porch, always a bonus.

Beautiful house on the lake
The property is beautiful. Driveway is very steep, but manageable. The house was clean and neat. Remodeling is in progress (we were aware of this before renting) but we were able to use the entire property without issues. There is currently one bathroom and 4 bedrooms in the house and also a bed above the boat house. Lots of stairs in the house and down to the water with railings. Stairs from the dock down into the lake made it very enjoyable for the dogs.

Last minute family get away
This was our first time to Old Forge and we booked this last minute. The house was great and in a perfect location to easily access local towns, hiking spots, and the water. The host was very prompt in answering any questions we had. The first floor of the house is under renovation but it did not impact our stay or enjoyment of the house. This is a hillside home that is right off the main road. Areas to walk a dog were limited as the main road was not safe for pedestrians and the slope of the land was not very conducive so hikes were a must. We definitely wished we were able to stay longer.
