"Property exterior was quite run down-also had dilapidated farm building attached. The interior does not match the exterior at all. We only found out a week before we travelled that there was a hire charge of 20 euro per room for bedding for stays of 7 days or less, had to pay 60 euro more on arrival for our 7 night stay . This is omitted from property details, I think this charge is outrageous. On positive note- the defective oven was replaced in 2 days and Pierre`s wine is excellent."

La rénovation récente de cette maison est une splendide réussite, par la qualité des matériaux, par la mise en valeur des pierres, par la grandeur de chaque chambre avec sdb et wc individuels, par l'agencement et l'équipement de la cuisine et l'espace confortable de la salle à manger et du salon. "Had a lovely time in Roquebrun. Andre is a great host, very friendly, easily contactable, quick to respond, fantastic local knowledge and excellent English (thanks). "Very comfortable, with an amazing pool and beautiful views across the vineyards. Lots of space and different places to have coffee and drink rose! Very well maintained and equipped. Lovely terrace for BBQ and nice garden. Pailhes is well located near Beziers and lots of other activities. A/C is a real bonus in hot weather. The host is incredibly helpful and accommodating. We would highly recommend this property for a lovely relaxing holiday. "

"First off, the woman who opened up the villa was extremely rude and only showed my daughter in law around the villa, insisting everyone else should wait outside. Afer 15 minutes, I'd had enough and went in telling this lady we were coming in. Added to this, the smoke alarms throughout the villa did not work, and as there was no way of securing the separate apartments, we had to close the metal shutters at night. With no smoke alarms, this is unbelievably dangerous. The facilities were adequate...
