The Tree House Wairoro Park - Russell Holiday Home

The Tree House is a 2 bedroom holiday home unit. Located in Russell’s Wairoro Park, both you and your pets are welcome to enjoy the large native grounds and private beach. This is an ideal option for a peaceful getaway to the stunning Bay of Islands.
This unique multilevel A-Frame unit offers comfortable family accommodation with 2 bedrooms upstairs one with a king bed and one with 2 singles. And downstairs, open plan kitchen, dinning, lounge with a fold out sofa, full kitchen (no dishwasher) and full bathroom, a covered deck, BBQ and outdoor furniture.

Spend days at the private beach onsite. Set yourself up at the picnic table or enjoy the complimentary Kayaks and paddle board. Be sure to keep watch for Kiwi and Weka living in the surrounding native bush. The Point House also has a large rural property with facilities shared between guests accommodation.

The Russell to Okiato walk crosses the rear of the property and offers spectacular ocean views. If you’re coming across from the Opua ferry, this tranquil holiday park is situated just 2km away. Head over to Russell for the day, just 7 minutes drive and while your there jump on the ferry to Paihia. For a piece of New Zealand, Waitangi is less than 5 minutes from Paihia.

Please note that there is a 1.5 km gravel driveway into Wairoro Park, with a max speed limit of 30km/hr.As the internal stairs only have one barrier, all guests should use the handrail provided and children should always be supervised when on and around these stairs to prevent potential falls.Please note a bond may be charged at certain times of the year. We enjoyed our stay however this is some feedback to make it better for the next person. The bathroom had a distinct unbearable smell and the door wouldn’t lock in the bathroom. No wifi was a bit of a downer - the single pullout bed was not at all comfortable as it wasn’t straight and was tilted below half way through. We couldn’t find the house keys when we reached as confirmed where they would be. Other than this we enjoyed the location and the house

What an amazing setting!

Kayaks were great for the kids and had all safety equipment and there were perfect. Easy to launch boat at Russell and leave boat out in the bay on the mooring or at anchor for quick access. And there were lots of dogs for our Puppy to play with. We'll be back!!

Beautiful setting with private shelly beach. Kayaks and dingy a real plus. Good play area and grounds for volleyball, badminton, etc with trampoline on the side and table tennis under shelter. Kids had lots of fun and we enjoyed our stay especially with the sunny weather all week.
