"My girlfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Purple Hen. I have stayed before with my family and loved it just as much then. Andrea and Rupert are always incredibly welcoming and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable, the lounge was cozy, the shower and kitchen were great. We will definitely be back for years to come."

"Great spot for a weekend getaway and the host was fantastic the accommodation was clean neat and tidy the batch has everything you need for a weekend stay"

"Our recent stay at Hoa's Shed was anything but relaxing. The reviews and descriptions on the website were highly misleading. The place was filthy with spider webs and dust, and it took us two hours to clean it enough to sleep. The furniture was worn-out, and the outside furniture was very dirty and covered in bird droppings and mould. The property manager's solution was to give us an old curtain, claiming it was specially made for couches. Upon arrival, we discovered a campervan and a...

"Fantastic location and very clean property. Good amenities and fully equipped kitchen. Very comfortable beds. Quick walk to local supermarket and Tay Street cafe. Just across from the beach. Enjoyed our stay thank you."

"Excellent experience, beginning to end. Jenna at the front desk is a gem, and a true asset to this establishment. My room reservation had somehow been cancelled, by a booking site, as you can imagine I was worried and stressed out.... I contacted the quest on Durham street directly. Jennas kind and confident phone manner, calmed me instantly ,she sorted it out quick smart. And added underground parking (which I recommend for easy transition, via lift , from car to room).
