"You can not beat the location. Check in and check out was painless and easy and efficient. Only 3 of the 5 elevators were working. The key card would often not work in the elevator. The card reading system needs to be updated. You have to hold the door open until the elevator recognizes your card. The room are dated. And the bathtub needs a good scrubbing to remove the dirty feet marks, but the housekeepers were friendly and accommodating. The bed was comfortable. And I slept well. "

"Well located in central Manhattan with good access to metro and busses. The Tik Tok diner is handy but quite expensive. Room was excellent and bathroom very good. Security also good. "

"Room had a lot of dust where you hang your coats. Very small but expected. We ordered food at 6:00 am and front desk didn’t give us a courtesy notification but threw it away instead. However they made up for it with a credit towards my stay. Staff is lovely and very helpful very safe place. Oh and bartenders were excellent "

"Initial reaction during check in wasn't the best because pregnant staff member wasn't very welcoming. She spoke very low and was short in her words. Later during my stay, I did have an issue with plumbing in our room. Staff was great about moving us to another room because issue kept happening. I appreciated that and would stay with them again in the future due to location of subway, food options and shopping nearby. "

"We really enjoyed this hotel. The location is perfect for tourists. The elevator system is effecient after you learn how to use it (there are kiosks near them to select the floor you want). The lobby is under construction, but we had read that before coming and were not caught by surprise. "This little apartment was clean, had absolutely everything I needed and the price can’t be beat for a winter stay at the Jersey Shore. As others have stated, communication is strictly through the VRBO app, but any questions or concerns I had were addressed quickly. When I discovered I hadn’t booked for the days I thought I had, the management was very attentive to helping me extend my stay. "

"Good location, ample parking, good communication with property manager. Some issues with home- upstairs bathtub didn't drain, no outlet cover on main bedroom outlet, downstairs significantly cooler than upstairs."

"Nice historic place with a good vibe. While a bit dated still clean and tidy. Good steak house on property. The included breakfast is a real disappointment—basically a few kinds of bread, butter, jam, orange juice, some granola, coffee (which I don’t drink), and no tea. Other than that still nice and pleasant. "
