"Property is old but clean. Not sure how it gets a 9.2 on Hotels, but I’ve always found the site to overhype hotels. There is a musty smell throughout and mildew on the tiling. That said, it was very clean and comfortable so I can’t fault the staff for much. "

"The pyjamas provided were not very comfortable. Why do they not provide the yukata, which is common for ryokans of this class? Also, the lack of towels in the bathing area was not convenient. Breakfast buffet was good. We did not use the dinner buffet. However, the cafe for a lighter meal turned out to be the best option for us., with wonderful service by the man who ran the entire cafe on his own."
