"It was a cute little hotel! The room was clean and we had plenty of space. The wifi was a little iffy at times, but overall it worked fairly well. Breakfast in the morning was a nice addition. The man who ran the hotel had spots set up for each of the guests when we came downstairs for breakfast. There was also a heated room downstairs o store skis/snowboards and boots to make sure they were dry by the next morning (and they didn't have to clutter up the room). "Sehr nette Besitzer. Super leckere und selbst gemachte Omelettes und Muffins zum Frühstück, jeden Tag waren die Omelettes und Muffins mit etwas anderem gefüllt/gemacht. Beim restlichen Frühstück gab es eine große Auswahl an Säften, Wurst, Käse usw. Das Zimmer war sehr nett mit Balkon, eine Terrasse am Frühstücksraum gab es auch um draussen zu frühstücken. Für Kinder gibt es Schaukeln, Rutschen und andere Geräte um sich auszutoben. Für Familien sehr zu empfehlen."

The price was quite high--even for the area, with which we are familiar--and we expected the room to reflect the three stars the hotel has and the price we had paid. Instead we were taken down the road to an overflow apartment--perhaps they had overbooked-- and housed in a tiny and very hot attic apartment (under the roof) with one very small window in the roof of the bedroom. "Seehaus Brigitte is in a beautiful location. The house is well maintained and clean and is exactly as the pictures and plan portray it. The lake is so accessible that it almost feels like one is living on a boat. We were there for a week and enjoyed a very comfortable stay. Highly recommend a trip to Faaker See and a day hiking around Weissensee. And we loved being picked up from the pontoon by water taxi and taken to our last night dinner in Velden."
