"This hotel is listed in Expedia as "Alpenmotel Sauling". The hardest part was finding it. We followed Google Maps to the location but could not find "Alpenmotel" on any building or sign. We went up and down the streets. We finally found "Sauling" and found a self service set of boxes on the outside. We found our name and the keys. There was a building (house) number but no map. "Wonderful hosts providing service over and above what was expected. This isn't "just" a B&B; it's an incredibly relaxing venue providing lite bites and beverages throughout the day as you relax around the pool, taking in the amazing views. Very little english spoken but that added to the magic! We got a free trip in the ski lift as part of the deal and I can imagine it's as amazing in the winter as it was in our August trip."

"I really like the hospitality of the owners. In generous they are nice people and even the place is mostly for tourist it didn't affect my short term stay at all. As a bonus i had really nice breakfast on Sunday with a lot of option to choose what to eat. Thank you again really much. Martin"

"We chose this hotel for a short break Mon-Fri. Reasonably priced for area. Greeted by Marco. Room upgraded with a balcony and good views. Spa area was very attractive & clean, although we never used it during our stay. Unfortunately there was no hot tub which would have been most welcome after a day on the slopes. "The property was easy to find, and convenient parking was just in front of the establishment. "Unterkunft war top! Sehr schöne Umgebung in und um Tiefenbach. Oberstdorf ist in wenigen Minuten mit dem Bus oder Auto erreichbar. Von Tiefenbach ist die Breitachklamm fussläufig zu erreichen. Die Wanderung kann nach durchschreiten der Breitachklamm beliebig erweitert werden. Von Vorteil war das die Allgäu-Walzer Card im Buchungspreis enthalten war und somit verschiedene Bergbahnen benutzt werden konnten."

"We had a wonderful time staying at this apartment. Good view of the mountains as it sits opposite on the hill. It is a bit of a walk into town, but we did not mind it. It was really nice to have a walk after dinner! Apartment was clean, simple, but has everything you need. As our visit was in the summer - we did not use the sauna. Be aware the garage is small. We had a van and fortunate not all the spaces were full or we would have trouble getting in/ out. Would definitely stay here again!"
