"- I wanted to contact a hotel to confirm our reservation, because online payment was not succesfull (according my bank) even Expedia thought is was already paid. - It was hard to contact them, one phone numbers on expedia pages is wrong. When I contacted them on another number, person there had no idea about my reservation. Mass with reservations and their evidence. - Hotel pushed us to have a silvester dinner and self service cathering with champane (30 euro/person), but the cathering...

"Liked this old town property. Made you feel like you were a resident of Passau. Had two bedroom with kitchen. Master bedroom had quaint balcony. Located above a nice cafe'. They do not have a front desk so you need to check in at the cafe'. When checking out, they didn't seem to have the record that I prepaid on Orbitz, but all was worked out."

"Hotel is very nice in a beautiful location on the River Ilz. Fabulous hiking trails at the doorstep. Our room was good, with a balcony, but the view was lacking. Maybe a river view room could be requested? Breakfast featured great coffee, perfectly done boiled eggs, cheese, yogurt and fruit. The bed was comfortable and the lighting was good for reading. Loved the quirky little knick-knacks in the common areas. Enjoyed the fresh trout at the restaurant."
