Marina at bottom of hill, or spend time on 500sf deck watching water activities below!

Great Weekend Trip
This was a great place to stay for a weekend trip with great access to Oak Harbor, Deception Pass State Park, Anacortes and the Friday Harbor Ferry. Beautiful location with an adorable house.

Booked this place at the last minute for a weekend overnight for Father's Day and it was fantastic. Wish we could have stayed longer, but lack of planning on my part. Host and house were friendly and great! Glad we did this.

Nice stay
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was a convenient, comfortable location in a beautiful setting. We spent a little time on the deck in the sun, walked to the nearby trails and took in the view through the floor to ceiling windows. Overall, a great place to stay

Great Trip
We had a wonderful trip and loved staying here. The location is great. It is close to Deception Pass State Park, Anacortes (Ferries to the San Juan Islands) and so many other places on the island and off. John and Marge were wonderful to work with and have a beautiful home. Would definitely stay here again.

This place was a perfect location for a weekend getaway. It offered lots opportunities to explore Deception Pass State Park and the Oak Harbor area. We really enjoyed our time here! The view is great, and we slept great! The whole house has a relaxed cozy vibe to it with that cabiny feel. Loved having acess to a fully stocked pantry - we made use of it and had an amazing breakfast. Also, the host John was great to work with. 10/10 would stay again.

Gorgeous cabin in a phenomenal location.
Great cabin with very helpful and friendly owners. My only complaint is that the bath tub needed cleaning. Other then that it couldn’t have been better.

This is an amazing property!It has a large jacuzzi tub that has hot water on demand!!Very quiet neighborhood and wonderful view.The home has vaulted ceiling’s and a kitchen that is large and open.Huge deck to enjoy the view.Exellent value and highly recommend.

Perfect chalet on the edge of Deception Pass State Park
We came for a Change of Command at NAS Whidbey Island and the location was perfectly located between the base and our other events. Being near Deception Pass, we took advantage of going into the park, early morning you could see deer. Both in the park and in the yard. The photos accurately describe the chalet, it is beautiful and rustic. We didn’t cook much but the kitchen was well equipped if you so desired to do so. John is wonderful to work with, responding quickly when needed. We would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Awesome Getaway
Comfortable, clean, and exactly as pictured. Host very responsive (lives next door)) and went above-and-beyond to meet our needs. Very secure environment; left bikes unlocked without incident. Enjoyed the multitude of dear that came through the yard. Also liked that trails for hiking/biking were accessible just up the hill from the home. Super close to the state park including cranberry lake with hiking, swimming, kayak rental, driftwood galore, and stunning sunsets. Host also provided eggs, bacon, juice, bagels, and other food items…all much appreciated. Only stayed for 2 nights and wish we had stayed longer. Awesome little getaway.
