"The place was beautiful, the staff was amazing and the food was good however, we were given a room that had no working phone even though we booked months in advance. The food tasted great but sometimes the dinner was cold! The noise from the renovations was distracting and the closed off parts of the resort were an inconvenience as we were not able to fully enjoy the property. The staff however was superb!"

"We spent four nights at the hotel before staying at a large, expensive all-inclusive resort. After the all-inclusive, we came back to Double A, which we preferred. We enjoyed the personal service, being steps from the beach and the swimming pool that was shaded by beautiful flowering trees. The breakfasts which were included were excellent. "It’s an excellent place for people on low budget No bells and whistles but very comfortable and the staffs are very helpful polite courteous and friendly In short this place is very informal and it’s location is like you are on a paradise island "

"Amazing services added to the property. Eco friendly. Beach amazing. Just when we asked for milk to the room they did not bring it. Food is not that great at the buffet restaurant. Gym is not a gym, some outdoor park that needs work. Security is great at the beach. Service with drinks are great. Evening sunset experience is fantastic. Resort and room and plantation is to die for. My favorite beach in Zanzibar."

"The stay was great because of Moana's wonderful service. Everything else was average. During rainy days they do not pay attention to detail and i slipped and fell on the stairs at breakfast which i did not like. "
