"Because of the name Ocean Resort, we actually thought we would see the ocean from the resort. The shower/tub was difficult to enter and exit. The tub was slippery. It needs a mat for better balance and safety. The bed was uncomfortable. The pillows for us were too big and lumpy. The heavy comforter was too heavy and hot. We didn’t use the air, and as such the heavy comforter wasn’t used. There needs to be an extra lighter blanket for use. We look for a trash can and only found a very...

"Clean and family friendly"

"Beautiful but far from ocean. It was weird that that they didn’t provide beach chairs when asked. They sent us to another hotel to rent them. That doesn’t sound like a vacation property to me."

"Beautiful, restful resort. Condos are large and well-maintained. Staff is very friendly and efficient. We are looking forward to returning."

"This property perhaps is best appreciated by thinking of it as a 'condo ' rather than a posh resort. Very well run, clean, close attention to detail, free parking, loaner beach gear etc. If you are expecting water slides and a lazy river...no. Medium sized pool w/ hot tub that we rarely shared w/ anyone. Do note that the upstairs neighbors were loud -- early (4 and 5 am) in spite of 'quiet time'. We complained once and then let it go... Great home base to Hanalei and local beaches. "

"Overall, property was great. Issues with upstairs neighbors making loud noises early in the morning and late at night. Ocean front property was awesome with great views. On site restaurant was great. "

"Employees was really friendly and the concierge to we only booked for 2 nights but ended up staying a whole week they accommodated me and my family the room was really clean and up to par we had washer dryer so we didn’t need any housekeeping services "

"This property was clean and the view from the unit was nice with ocean in the distance. The property managers were very responsive too. Nice to have resort amenities like clean beach towels and access with nice pool. Just note there's still additional daily resort and parking fees and taxes on top of what's paid through VRBO. Minor, the TV reception is not very stable and some days there were no good receptions/channels avail, and the tiny shampoo and conditioner bottles were not enough to last...

"I like the high ceiling of the sleeping area / living area because we are only 2 people. We don't need the sleeping sofa. The back yard has a lot of trees. You can watch from inside the different birds flying from trees to balcony."

"Wonderful place to stay! We loved that they provided everything we needed for beach days and we didn’t have to rent things! The bed was super comfortable, the neighborhood was quiet and walkable to hideaway beach (just over a mile). We also loved that we were able to cook some of our meals. Host was extremely accommodating and responsive! Would book again!"
