"Absolutely nothing wrong with this place but nothing spectacular either. The location is great. The rooms are good, clean and decently sized. The hotel is a little dated but not bad. Bathroom was nice. I almost had a nice view of Mont St Michel from window but there were trees blocking the view. So close!"

"I thought we had a two bedroom – it wasn’t. Two twin beds were pushed together (not a king bed!) and there was a pull-out couch. We ended up having to purchase another room for our adult son. The nicest staff member was the man at check-in — pleasant and friendly. Waitstaff in the restaurant were cold, aloof and it took forever just to be acknowledged once we were seated. The surrounding area was very nice and safe, "

"Recently remodeled Spa oriented hotel with a gorgeous ocean view with Saint Malo in the distance. The rooms are very well decorated, a bit on the smaller side but it is Europe after all. The spa has also been remodeled and it is beautiful. The breakfast was very good. It is a very nice option if you are planning to visit Mont Saint Michel and Saint Malo while mixing in some amazing spa time."

"We had tried Mama Shelter in Dijon, and the one in Rennes didn't disappoint. Really great location and amenities. Minor thing to make it better from an inclusivity perspective is making it abundantly clear that when booking a slot at the pool, other people from other rooms can also book the same slot. "This was a very good spot for a family stay. Plenty of room. It would have been helpful to have some instructions for the room in English or French for the kitchenette. The beds were comfy. It was an easy bus trip into the city centre and easy access to main motorways. "

"Very clean comfortable apartment in a wide open space opening out onto the pool. Great seating area on the balcony (Downstairs apartments had a good space outside their units). Apartment was well fitted out. A little far from the village but easy driving and parking. A good location to explore Mont St Michel."

Luxury stay close to Mont St. Michel

"A gem of a place in the vicinity of Mont St. Michel. The owner personally welcomed and took us to our suite which was spacious and luxurious. The attention to detail of what it offered was extraordinary and the room was extremely quiet. For breakfast, we had croissants and coffee-- the very best croissants in all of France and the coffee was superb! And for a nominal fee, we were also driven a few minutes to the shuttle bus going to Mont-Saint-Michel Abbey. All in all, an enjoyable stay at this hotel which we would highly recommend."
