"I was solo traveling in Japan as a woman and this capsule hotel was amazing: the location was perfect right in Gion; the staff were SO friendly and welcoming and it felt like coming home everytime I walked through the lobby; the bathrooms and capsule area were extremely clean and the beds were super comfortable and I was surprised at how easy it was to stay in a capsule room! Highly recommend if you are wanting a more community oriented experience in Kyoto "
