Located just a 400-meter walk from Nosara’s southernmost beach, Playa Guiones, Casa Bougainvillea is a 4-bedroom, 3.5-bath home constructed around a wonderfully relaxing pool, amidst a garden of lush tropical plants and palms. The house offers privacy and tranquillity for those families or groups who want to get away from it all. Take a dip in the pool and relax on one of the spacious shaded terraces, or sunbathe on one of the poolside lounges.
The main building consists of a tranquil master bedroom with a king-sized bed and ensuite bathroom, a guest powder room just off the main entrance, and an inviting great room that houses the living and dining spaces, as well as a gorgeous gourmet kitchen.
The great room opens out through generous sliding glass doors onto a spacious covered terrace that is furnished with a gorgeous custom-made Guanacaste wood table that can accommodate up to 10 people – great for enjoying a leisurely meal, a game of cards, or a refreshing cocktail after a day at the beach!
The buildings are separated by just a few steps. Each of the bedrooms in the second building looks out over the pool. Situated at the far end of the building, the second master bedroom suite is a mirror image of the master in the main building. The third bedroom is furnished with a queen-sized bed and sleeps two. The fourth bedroom is furnished with a twin-upper/full-lower bunkbed. In addition, there is a twin-sized trundle bed. The bunkroom can sleep up to four, depending on the size of the occupants. These two bedrooms are joined by a lovely Jack-n-Jill bathroom. Step from any of these rooms onto the generous covered terrace before making your way into the pool.
All of the bedrooms are furnished with spacious armoires, the showers are equipped with rainfall showerheads, and every room has its own air conditioning unit.
Casa Bougainvillea is conveniently located in the K Section of Nosara, equidistant between the Bodhi Tree Yoga Retreat and Playa Guiones, home of world-class surf. It’s a short trip into Central Guiones for groceries, restaurants, and other amenities.
Guests can easily walk, bike, tuk-tuk or ride an ATV into the Playa Guiones village centre for great restaurants, souvenir shops, and tourist activities.

For that reason, we’re here to help curate your experience and itinerary to be the best it can be. From booking surf lessons and ATV tours to arranging your rental car or shuttle, to organizing your private chef and massages, we’re here for you.
Security
Nosara is absolutely a wonderful community and we can't wait to share all the good things that it has to offer. We care a great deal about our clients and for that reason, we also want to make you aware of one of the véry few downsides to Nosara: petty theft (they usually are out for your cash and your belongings as in any other tourism area). We would like to understand the dynamics of the group, so we can take care of you, put you in the right house and downsize the chance of you having any issues with this. Please feel free to inquire for more information. If not included, the property manager can arrange a dinner guard at an additional cost. The guest is responsible for securing and protecting their personal belongings and valuables left in and around the Property and for ensuring that all security features available are enabled every time they leave the Property.
Internet and Electricity
In the jungle, the utility infrastructure is unpredictable. There may be power, phone, and/or internet outages and interruptions in service. The Guest should not leave electronics plugged in during rainstorms. There is no guarantee that the Internet will always work. We have an excellent mobile phone signal with Kolbi and data rates are very reasonable. If internet access is always crucial, we encourage you to bring an unlocked phone and get a Kolbi SIM card.
Water
During the dry season months of December through April, the Property may have low water pressure due to temporary or scheduled water outages. We will do our best to notify Guests of any interruptions in water service or regularly scheduled water shut-offs.
Jungle creatures
We make every effort to present a well-cleaned home for your arrival. However, it is a jungle out there and nature can move in at any time. The Homeowners and Property Manager are not responsible for the fumigation or removal of insects that may enter the Property during the Guest's stay. Even though the house is regularly fumigated on a maintenance schedule, expect to see ants, beetles, spiders, and other assorted insects year-round. Bugs are especially active during the rainy season, May through November. Every effort is made to present a clean home at Check-In. To minimize the impact of bugs on your vacation, please keep food wrapped, store it in the refrigerator, clean kitchen counters and screen doors closed at all times (particularly at night).
Refunds
No refunds will be given for natural disasters, water outages, internet outages, security breaches, personal property losses, or nearby construction noise. This area is a rapidly growing community. There is no guarantee there will not be construction nearby.
Insurance
We encourage all Guests to purchase Traveler Insurance in case of unforeseen circumstances, accidents, or other issues that may prohibit Guests from travelling or fulfilling Rental terms.
