"This property lived up to its VRBO listing and reviews. It is clean,spacious, well-appointed, and well-stocked with everything from coffee to toothpaste. We had no problems at all. The party barn was perfect for a day after our son's wedding get-together. SO much fun! We would definitely rent again!"

"Property is nice, for all the house rules and remarks about leaving everything clean and items in their “home” property was not that clean. Oven was a disaster that required cleaning to use. Otherwise nice if you do not mind taxidermy and possible daycare with 3 dogs next door."

"This house had everything we needed. The location was within 20 minutes of everything we needed and wanted to do. There’s plenty of room so you’re not on top of each other. The owner was responsive and friendly. We will stay here again when we need to see family. "

"The house was amazing- so many conversation pieces. We played games, watched movies and enjoyed the overall comfort of this home. Beds were very comfortable- bathrooms well stocked and clean!! Parking is great!!!! Highly recommend!!!"

"This house is spacious, immaculate and seemingly brand new. It was the perfect space for our seven older adults but would be great for families with children as well. Everything you need is in both the kitchen and bathrooms. Beds are very comfortable with soft, luxurious linens. Plenty of very nice pillows. Towels are thick and fluffy. Close proximity to Polk City, Ankeny, and Des Moines, in a quiet family neighborhood. We would definitely stay again!"

"Large modern house, great space both inside and out. Nice fixtures and fittings (couple of minor things need a touch up) but overall wonderful! Comfy living room, beds comfy too. Garden and decking area great space to relax in. Host friendly and super responsive....also able to accommodate extra nights stay."

"We came for the Hillbilly Hike run and it was perfect. The location was great, close to things to do but not too close, perfect neighborhood. The owner was awesome, I had to contact him because some of the girls thought beeping was coming from the room. He found it in one of the girls purses, nothing to do with the house. I am happy that we found this little oasis in Des Moines! "

"We stayed here to celebrate Christmas. We loved that each family had their own room and bathroom on dedicated floors! Very clean and punctual communication with owners! The only complaint would be the streaming services you had to use own logins. We have stayed at other vrbos that have this already available to you and signed in"
