"This might just be the best hotel I've ever stayed in. I came straight from work, upon my arrival to reception, the receptionist (Amelie/Amelia?) could not have been more welcoming. As I was checking in, I was offered a complimentary drink which was lovely. I was then offered to sign up to the free members club which I did and immediately got a free room upgrade and 2 mini bottles of Prosecco for the room as I was having a girls night with my best friend. "Last minute decision to stay here, decent price, large seating in bar/ reception area. Check out is 11 which I liked without having to rush up and out. Easy check in and out. Room was a decent size and bed was comfortable, my only gripe was remote for tv didn't work properly."

"Lovely hotel in prime location, spotlessly clean room was very comfortable. Slight issue with electrics to bedside chargers sadly couldn’t be resolved but a minor irritation. Hotel very busy during our visit, all staff remained professional under pressure. Great"

"My only disappointment was that I had requested an upgrade before my stay. I had an email confirming that was possible but on check in was told that it wasn't then possible. I had an early 7am appointment the next morning and requested the upgrade to facilitate the fridge for my yogurt so I could eat before leaving tbe hotel ( breakfast didn't open until 7am at the hotel). Therefore I had to leave my yogurt in the bathroom sink full of cold water. It was far from ideal when I had paid over...

"Hotel and staff always good. However, car park arrangements are poor. NCP operated Greyfriars carpark is prohibitively expensive and the touch screen payment display is the most unreliable method for paying, often stalling and failing to register the correct lettering. It is the worst."
