"Overall this was a great place for a getaway with my husband! The cottage is very well done. It's incredibly clean, well stocked, and the furnishings and supplies are quite nice. The view is absolutely gorgeous and very peaceful. The "downsides" were that a bridge is under construction until late 2025 in the area so it takes longer to get to any stores. The last 5 minutes to the property are complete gravel roads and the very last part is a little steep. It's secluded but there is a house next...

From the excellent communication starting from the reservation and continuing throughout the stay to farm fresh eggs, orange juice, muffins, and wine awaiting our arrival. The owner, Lynn, answered all of our questions and responded to our text messages quickly. She could not have been more helpful. "A friend and I stayed in this modern cottage, tucked away in the woods about 10 minutes outside Leesburg's historic downtown. It has 1 bedroom (King) and a sitting room with a daybed, which would be a very cozy sleep for two (and I don't believe there was a door to close off the room). We shared the king and was glad another couple didn't join us, as it would have been quite tight sleeping. Also the one bathroom is shared so that creates some noise between the rooms. "My partner and I stayed over christmas in what was the perfect cottage. If you want to believe that you're in some tiny small town america during christmas, this is the perfect place to be. It was by far the most peaceful and relaxing christmas.I've had in a long time. The stove is wonderful and makes me want to upgrade mine at my own house and the rest of the appliances are also amazing. Ten out of ten, we'll be staying again."
